Project competition for all Latvian ethnic integration and cooperation

Soros Fund - Latvia in cooperation with Latvian Community InitiativesFoundation (LCIF)announces project competition for all nations’ youth who lives in Latvia and their cooperation „Sign for growth”.

The aim of the project is to promote and develop the sense of belonging to the Latvia as country, responsibility about social and economical life in all non-citizens who are at age from 15 to 28, by providing financial support for common non-Latvian and Latvian youth employment and local changes in the environmental projects, as well as lifelong learning projects.

The competitions are open for registered associations in the Republic of Latvia, foundations and merchants.

The eligible activities are as following: job training and professional placement; innovative entrepreneurial skills acquiring projects, protection of the environment (energy, waste management, initiatives of planning eco-friendly environment) project in cooperation with educational institutions, local municipalities, entrepreneurs; creative workshops, specific competencies in the future demand for learning; projects of education career.

The amount of budget for one project is LVL 3935.

Full application for the project should be submitted in two printed formats by attaching electronic format written in CD or USB flash memory card and to be sent till 5 p.m. by 16^th December, 2011 in closed envelope personally brought to LCIF office or by post (post stamp should be with a date 16^th of December) addressed to Competition “ sign for growth”, Elizabetes iela 45/47 -506, Riga, LV-1010.
